Swatch is a Shopify makeup theme built on Dawn for lipstick, gloss, blush and colour cosmetics brands. It is loud and playful: vivid coral, pink, lilac and butter colour blocks, Unbounded capital headings, DM Sans body text, round pill buttons and rotated stickers. Products sit on bright colour backdrops, so every shade pops.
Because Swatch is built on Shopify’s Dawn theme and uses standard Dawn sections, it keeps Online Store 2.0 features such as collection filtering, predictive search, the cart drawer and full editing in the theme customizer.
Built for colour cosmetics
Makeup shoppers buy by shade. Swatch lets them shop by shade family, see each shade on three skin tones before they buy and build a full look in one go. Product cards sit on colour backgrounds with a sticker badge and a round add button. The product page uses round shade chips and shows how the shade wears.
Signature sections
- Bento hero – a colour-blocked hero with a tall model photo, two product tiles and a bright text tile, all editable.
- Swatch wall – shoppers pick a skin tone (fair, medium or deep) and tap a shade. The shade is painted on the arm photo and the chosen shade goes to the cart in one click.
- Lip kit builder – liner, lipstick and gloss in one panel. Shoppers pick a shade for each, see the kit price with your discount and add the whole kit to the cart.
