About this product

Plinth is a Shopify home decor theme built on Dawn for rug, runner, cushion and textile brands. It has a warm, maximal look: cream paper, deep forest green, rust and saffron, Young Serif headings with highlighted words and friendly Karla text. Arch-shaped photos, scalloped edges and bold sticker buttons give the store a happy, handmade feel that matches colourful products.

Because Plinth is built on Shopify’s Dawn theme and uses standard Dawn sections, it keeps Online Store 2.0 features such as collection filtering, predictive search, the cart drawer and full editing in the theme customizer.

Built for rugs and textiles

Rug shoppers think about pattern, colour and size. Plinth opens with a forest green hero, a tall arch room photo and a round close-up of the weave. Arch tiles let shoppers pick a style: kilim, medallion, striped, runners or cushions. Product cards show colour dots, the number of sizes and the price range. A size guide band explains which rug size fits each room.

Signature sections

• Colourway explorer – tabs for each pattern, colour dots that swap the photo, key specs and size buttons. The matching variant goes straight to the basket.
• Cushion stack builder – shoppers pick three cushions and see them stacked on a sofa, with the bundle saving shown before they add the set.
• Shop by palette – palette chips such as Terracotta, Forest and Saffron show the matching collection and change the section colour.
