About this product
Kiln is a Shopify furniture theme built on Dawn for furniture, lighting and interior brands that sell high-value pieces: marble tables, sofas, lounge chairs, sideboards and lamps. It has a modern luxe look: dark onyx walls, marble and travertine tones, brushed brass accents, Bodoni Moda headings and clean Hanken Grotesk text. Big room photos set the mood, and studio product shots show every detail.
Because Kiln is built on Shopify’s Dawn theme and uses standard Dawn sections, it keeps Online Store 2.0 features such as collection filtering, predictive search, the cart drawer and full editing in the theme customizer.
Built for luxury furniture and lighting
Furniture buyers spend more and think longer. Kiln opens with a full-width room photo and a small “In this room” product card. A room index lets shoppers hover Living, Dining, Bedroom or Lighting to see each room. Product cards show the finish dots, the dimensions and a “View” link instead of quick add, which suits pieces made to order. A white-glove delivery bar in the cart shows how close the order is to free delivery.
Signature sections
- Piece configurator – shoppers choose the stone, the length and an add-on such as a brass inlay. The photo, the price, the dimension line and the lead time update, and the matching variant goes to the cart.
- Material samples – shoppers pick up to five free samples (marble, wood, brass, fabric, leather). They are added to the cart as one free sample product with the material name on each line.
- Design appointment – shoppers choose a showroom visit or a video call, a day and a time slot. The request is sent to you through the Shopify contact form.
10 designed pages
Home, collection, product, cart, search, blog, article, about, contact and 404. The product page has a large image grid with zoom, stone swatches, length buttons with prices, a made-to-order delivery card, a dimension drawing, accordions for materials and delivery, a trust row, a “see it in a room” banner, rating bars and reviews. The collection page has room chips, a filter sidebar with material, price and delivery filters, and a free samples tile inside the grid. Every page has a designed mobile layout.
Sections included
- Custom: Piece configurator, Material samples, Design appointment, Selvedge divider and Breadcrumbs.
- Dawn sections, pre-styled: announcement bar, header with centred logo and mega menu, image banner, collection list as room tiles, featured collection, image with text, multicolumn, rich text, collage, collapsible content, featured blog, newsletter, related products, collection grid with filters, cart, search, blog, article, contact form, 404 and footer.
